Fixture ID: peppolVatSignMismatch · XPath: /ubl:Invoice/cac:TaxTotal/cbc:TaxAmount
The invoice total VAT amount (BT-110) is 285.00 EUR and the same total in the VAT accounting currency (BT-111) is -3200.00 SEK. The two must carry the same operational sign, because they are one figure expressed twice — an exchange rate scales a number, it never flips it. Opposite signs mean the second figure was taken from a different document, or that a credit was converted without its sign. This is a Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 profile rule: it applies because profile is "peppol-bis-3". It does not apply to the en16931, xrechnung-ubl or xrechnung-cii profiles, whose validators will accept the same document.
PEPPOL-EN16931-R055Set taxAmountInAccountingCurrency to the computed VAT total converted at the rate your tax authority prescribes for the tax point, keeping the sign: 285.00 EUR converts to a figure with the same sign, never the opposite one.
